Thank you to all the teams that participated in the Summer League, and Summer TFL Championship!!

There was a ton of great softball played, and we appreciate everyone involved that helped keep the game going! It wasn't always perfect or without problems, but we do truly feel that we made a step forward in improving the game here in Texas! We look forward to continuing working together to do what is best for the game and all the kids involved...

CONGRATULATIONS

Congrats to the teams that won each division and bracket at the TFL Championships. See attached for the final results.

Congrats to the teams that earned a Tier 1 status for the fall season, also attached. All other teams will play the season as a Tier 2 team, with opportunities to advance to tier 2 by the end of the fall!

ALLIANCE FASTPITCH

There have been several other leagues created across the country that have followed Texas's lead! Be on the lookout for information on the newly formed Alliance Fastpitch Association, I have attached a quick glance of information. We believe this will help connect the TFL to other leagues on a national level, and give all teams of all ages and levels a chance to get the most out of the game year in and year out...as well as compete in the best National Championship Event of the year!

TFL - "Town Hall" Zoom Meeting - Thursday August 13th - 7:00 PM

We will discuss what went right, what went wrong, where we can get better and ideas and plans moving forward.

TFL FALL SEASON

Here are a few details about the Fall Season, which will be discussed in detail on Thursday's TFL "Town Hall" Zoom Meeting.

Registration opens soon.. Registration set to open this Friday August 14th.

Fall League tentatively set to start after September 12th, 2020.
Players, coaches and teams will also register through Alliance and get the benefits of the association.
$295 entry fee for all teams, does not include entry to events other than the Fall TFL Championships (other than the PAP cost).
Age Groups 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u
Divisions (10u, 12u - Juniors) (14u, 16u, 18u - Tier 1 and Tier 2 in each age group)
Tier 1 status must have been earned at the TFL Championships or from Summer 2020 Team Resume
14u teams will have a chance to advance to Tier 1 in an Advancement event in September (Played within existing events, TBA)
Tentative Event Schedule attached - additional events will likely be added - and others can be submitted.
No Midweek games unless set up between teams or a certain site.
All teams must choose a conference to play in (Central, North, South) **Reminder no midweek games so all teams can pick conference that is best for their team.
TFL Fall Kick off events in each Conference that all teams must play in (North - Sept 18/20, Central/North - Sept 25/27)
TFL Kick Off events will be a 5 game round robin event in which all 5 games will count as TFL games
TFL games will be games from the TFL events (Exact Details will be discussed further in Zoom meeting)
14u, 16u, 18u - Top 8 from each age group and division (Tier 1 & 2) will play in a TFL Fall Championship (Location TBD), no entry fee for the 8 teams that make it (just PAP).
14u, 16u, 18u - Fall Championships (Top 8 in each division) scheduled for November 20-22, 2020
10u, 12u - All teams will make the Fall Championships, tentatively scheduled for December 11-13, 2020
Advancement opportunities at the end of season in the season Championships.
